autoresearch-webgpu: agents train small language models (in the browser!) and run experiments to improve them

title! built this out to play with Karpathy's autoresearch loop (agents generate training code / run ML experiments!) because I don't have a GPU and hate python setup. fun hack - uses jax-js / webgpu so all training happens locally!
✦ Editorial Summary

Researchers have developed autoresearch-webgpu, a browser-based framework that enables agents to train small language models and run experiments locally without requiring a GPU or Python setup. This innovative approach leverages Jax-JS and WebGPU to execute training processes within the browser, circumventing traditional infrastructure requirements. By utilizing autoresearch-webgpu, users can explore and refine machine learning models in a more accessible and flexible manner. This development has significant implications for democratizing access to AI research and experimentation.
